Shopify
Our online store is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide to us for our services is shared with Shopify. Shopify has access to your data to provide technical support, but will never use your data for other purposes. Shopify is obligated to implement appropriate security measures, such as SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified credit card processor. Shopify also uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software. No personal data is collected or stored in this process. Shopify may share collected data within its own group to further improve its services and adheres to the statutory retention periods for personal data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies.
Office365
We use Office365 for our regular business email communications. This provider has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communications confidentially.
Shipping and Logistics
When you place an order with us, it's our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use PostNL's services for this. To do this, we need to share your name, address, and city of residence with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely for the execution of the agreement. If PostNL uses subcontractors, your information may also be shared with these parties.
Invoicing and accounting
We use the services of e. Boekhouden to manage our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and city of residence, as well as details regarding your order. This information is used to manage sales invoices. Your data is sent and stored securely. e. Boekhouden is obligated to maintain confidentiality and treats your data confidentially. They do not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

We only use your data to provide our services.
Automatic data collection
When you visit our website, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser, and operating system. This information helps us improve our services and is not considered personal data.
Legal obligations
In some cases, HeroFur may be obligated to share data, for example, in the event of a tax or criminal investigation. We only do this when legally required.
Retention periods
Your customer profile will be retained for as long as you use our services. If you indicate you no longer wish to be a customer, we will consider this a request to be forgotten and delete your data. We are required by law to retain invoices and administrative data for a longer period. After this period, your data will no longer be accessible to employees.
Your rights

For any request, please email info@herofur.com. You will receive a response within 30 days. If you disagree with how we process your data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
